Appeal for Contribution Towards Website Renewal

Dear Fellow Geoscientists,

I hope you are all doing well.

As many of you know, the Geoscientist Society Gilgit-Baltistan was established to create a professional platform that connects geoscientists, promotes knowledge sharing, and represents our community. One of the important steps in achieving this vision was the development and maintenance of our official website.

For the past year, I have personally covered all the expenses related to the website, including domain registration, hosting, and maintenance, without placing any financial burden on the Society or its members. As the renewal date approaches, I believe it is the right time to request your support.

This Society belongs to all of us, and its sustainability should be a shared responsibility rather than the responsibility of one individual. While we have collected a small amount through registrations, those funds are not sufficient to cover the annual renewal and other operational expenses.

I therefore humbly request every member of our geological community to contribute whatever amount they comfortably can towards the renewal of our website. Every contribution, regardless of its size, will help ensure that our Society continues to maintain its professional online presence and grow for the benefit of current and future geoscientists.

This is not merely a contribution towards a website. It is an investment in our professional community, our identity, and the future of the Geoscientist Society Gilgit-Baltistan.
